BSA B31 1955

Complete rolling chassis and associated parts were bought off ebay some years ago. In the listing the guy said he had the v5c for it in his name, but he couldn't find it, but did have the RF 60 for it, the registration number is PTX799. I have checked the DVLA website and the registration is still on the website. I have spoken to the DVLA and they said that the registration is still available, because the bike had been off the road for so long, it would have to be more complete and up and running and roadworthy before a new v5c could be issued for it, so there it is, a complete rolling chassis for a BSA B31, all the tinware is good and solid, the chronometric speedo is good, seat and tank are good, wheels turn and forks go up and down, with a engine bottom end, an incomplete gearbox, a timing cover, pushrod tunnel and inner chaincase, all these were in a genuine barn, on a genuine farm, so some of the spare parts are not the best, but it is still a good project.
