Also fitted to AJS's of the same period, this is the one with flutes on and a proper hinge, rather than the later type with a clip on lid, good solid condition, needs stripping and respraying, opens and closes fine, hinge is very slightly bent, hard to find these days as they are always rotten from the battery acid.
