BSA A65 Lightning engine
All complete as removed from the frame, numbers are good and clear, A65 L A 105 - - Y, this suggests that it is from a 1967 bike, but has had replacement cases at sometime by the factory or dealership, as they are the ones with the raised platform and the BSA logo stamped behind them.
